Total Compensation Up 0.4 Percent

Pay, Total Compensation Up 0.4 Percent, BLS Says Real Total compensation for private sector wage and salary workers increased 0.4 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis in the third quarter, slower than the 0.5 percent rise in the prior three months, the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics said Oct. 29.
